[redirecting to nut-upsuser since we hardly use the packaging list anymore]
It's something I would like to do at some point, but it would need a few things. I've created an issue at Github:
https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/126
MacPorts has a slightly older version of NUT, but it should work. They also have a client-only variant that should compile with fewer dependencies:
http://trac.macports.org/ticket/33433
If you want to use the Xcode command-line tools, just grab the nut-2.7.1.tar.gz source file, extract, and follow the installation instructions: http://www.networkupstools.org/docs/user-manual.chunked/ar01s05.html#Installing_source
With any of these three options, you will need some way to start NUT at boot. While Apple has been pushing launchd for some time, this might still work:
http://trac.networkupstools.org/projects/nut/wiki/NutOnMacOSX
Let us know if you have any questions.
Hi friends,
I?m looking for an already compiled .pkg NUT Client to be installed in a Mavericks iMac. Can someone, please point me to place where I can find it?
We don't have any official ones. If anyone else has compiled one, please feel free to share it.I?m looking for an already compiled .pkg NUT Client to be installed in a Mavericks iMac. Can someone, please point me to place where I can find it?

If not, I can try compiling the latest stable version. In this case, can you please let me know what are the exact source code packages I should compile? I have a QNAP NAS that is already running NUT, and I only need to install the client in some MAC desktops like the imac mentioned above.
Is there any detailed written procedure?
If you have Fink, you can run "fink install nut".Is there any detailed written procedure?
